i thought it was a genuinely old silent movie.
it was prepared for the delegates of the international conventions.
a young man in a sound car goes to different homes in the neighborhood, and comes upon a bereaved husband with two young daughters.

Thank you, Mrs. Bee, sparrowdown and losingit for your comments!
Things like this often make me think of the young ones I said goodbye to at the congregation. I wonder if they'll be okay, if theyll ever make it out, and if ever I might need to b there for them if they turn away from 'the truth'.
My sentiments exactly, losingit.
Many of my loved ones at the KH are not okay. For that reason, I have gone back -- physically. I solemnly grin and bear my way through the prop from the podium and then, afterwards, do all I can to be a warm and loving friend to these dear people who appear to know no better. I tried staying in touch from a distance; it simply has not worked. So many followed my lead and accepted "The Truth" upon my urging. I cannot leave them abandoned any longer.
It's a personal choice. You'll do what's right for you and yours.
Love,
CoCo

Dear Lois:
Your opening six words are key to what this is all about.
Everything you have written is stunningly to the point and has had the effect of getting my emotions under control. I now understand how easily I am manipulated. After all, this production is "Hollywood"!
Bless you.

Yes, I caught that also, JWdaughter, but wonder if it was part of a man's wardrobe in that era . . .
In the old movies, men always wore a suit, tie and hat -- but a boater?!?!?
Thanks!

A young man in a sound car goes to different homes in the neighborhood, and comes upon a bereaved husband with two young daughters. Joe Witness plays "Millions Now Living Will Never Die" to the grieving widower and father.
There is a "smoking gun" midway through that reveals itself at the film's end.
It made me want to believe again . . .

wow, it's true - they don't call to 'promote god's kingdom' anymore but just their website!.
we just had an old lady call and tell us that was exactly what they were doing and it has "lots of good things on their for children".
yeah, right ... sparlock?.
So now it's OK to wear T-shirts with logos?
Those boys are Mormons.

The excitement here over the campaign is at fever pitch. Photos everywhere on FB of joyous worldwide (all nations have internet?!?!?!?) activity.
We used to study for service: d-t-d; backcalls/return visits; home Bible studies.
Today's excitement is based on nothing palpable (even though what we taught was off-center).

"stay alive till '75.
" remember that?
note: this is the year 5774 not 2014. why didn't they tell you that in 5735 (1975 ad?
Greetings, John:
Are your conclusions based on your reading of:
